Stagecoach has partnered with a number of major employers, colleges, universities and hospitals to support more sustainable travel choices. The green travel plan involves employees signing up to annual bus travel and paying for it direct from their salary. As well as being a more environmentally friendly way to get to work, the scheme allows employees to make considerable savings on their annual travel costs because they don’t have to pay Income Tax and National Insurance on the cost of the bus pass.
